DMG Media Ireland journalists won three awards at the 2024 Journalism Awards, organised by NewsBrands Ireland.

Anne Sheridan of the Irish Daily Mail and Irish Mail on Sunday won the Campaigning Journalism Award for her reporting on child sex abuse by former Bishop Eamonn Casey.

Irish Mail on Sunday crime correspondent Debbie McCann won Features Journalist of the Year (Popular) for exposing a family court expert charging €8,000 to compile reports recommending that children be placed in the care of fathers accused of abusing them.

Brenda Power won Columnist of the Year (Popular) for her column in the Irish Daily Mail, and she was also nominated in the Broadsheet category, won by Mick Clifford of the Irish Examiner.

Killian Woods of the Business Post was named Business Journalist of the Year, sponsored by Business Plus.
