Miley Cyrus is grateful to Pamela Anderson for sharing the success of her latest project with the Grammy winner.
Cyrus released her new single “Beautiful That Way,” which was written and recorded for Gia Coppola’s The Last Showgirl, on Dec. 9. The song’s release came shortly after being nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Original Song – Motion Picture.
After Cyrus’ nomination was announced, she thanked Anderson, 57, and Coppola, 37, for inviting her to collaborate on the production.
“It’s an honor to be nominated for Best Original Song alongside my friends and collaborators Andrew Wyatt and Lykke Li at the Golden Globes & Critics Choice Awards,” Cyrus wrote on Instagram.
“Pamela is graciously sharing her moment with us. I am continuing to root for her; it’s so fun to watch her shine,” Cyrus wrote of Anderson, who is a serious awards contender for the first time in her 35 years …
