Indiana voters can text the letters “IN” to 45995 with election questions or concerns, the secretary of state said.

INDIANAPOLIS — More than 1 million Hoosiers have voted early ahead of Tuesday’s general election, Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales announced Thursday.

That number includes those who have voted by absentee mail ballot and early in-person voting.

In a statement, Morales said that number demonstrates “our state’s dedication to the principles of civic engagement and active involvement… I encourage every eligible voter who has not yet cast their ballot to make a plan and head to the polls.”

13News reached out to several county clerk offices. As of Friday morning:

Hamilton County reports more than 78,000 in-person voters and nearly 18,000 absentee ballots.
Hendricks County reports more than 36,000 in-person voters and more than 5,000 absentee ballots.
Hancock County reports more than 24,000 in-person voters and more than 2,000 absentee …
