ATLANTA — The Morehouse College community is mourning the loss of a junior who the school said in a post on Instagram died following a car accident early Thursday morning.
Jayden Mango, a member of the Class of 2026 and a junior in the Cinema, Television, and Emerging Media Studies program, was deeply respected for his creativity, kindness, and dedication to his studies, the college wrote in its post.
“He was passionate about storytelling and envisioned using his talents to uplift and educate others through the power of media,” Morehouse College added.
The school said Mango’s involvement on campus was marked by a spirit of generosity and quiet leadership. He embodied the Morehouse ideals of excellence and brotherhood. Mango was also pursuing a minor in education, hoping to use his skills to impact future generations.
