Can you give squirrels a winter home? Nature’s Nursery is looking for release sites and caretakers for black and grey squirrels that are ready to return to the wild.
The wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center takes in thousands of animals each year to its facility in Whitehouse, many of which are squirrels. Once the squirrels are ready to be released back into the wild, Nature’s Nursery needs to find suitable locations for the little critters to thrive.
In this case, black and grey squirrels need to find homes with a little help to get through the winter.
To be considered for a release site, Nature’s Nursery said that a candidate must own property that already has black and/or grey squirrels.
