The league decided to make this change due to the Browns and Bengals being at the bottom of the NFL standings. Cleveland holds a record of 3-8 after they took down the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football yesterday.

The Bengals hold a record of 4-7 for the season but have looked better than their record actually reflects. Cincinnati has been held back by poor defense and special teams, leading to a big drop in the standings.
