Nick Kyrgios insists he has the greatest tennis IQ of all time – ahead of the likes of Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.
The enigmatic Australian is making his return to tennis from injury across the next month culminating in the Australian Open, having not played competitively since June 2023.
In an interview on the podcast Let’s Trot Show, Kyrgios was asked to create the perfect tennis player and claimed his IQ was greater than any of the recent tennis legends, citing his run to the Wimbledon 2022 decider without a tactician.
“I’ve played against Djokovic, Federer, Nadal and [Andy] Murray. I have a higher tennis IQ than them,” Kyrgios said.
