Nick Kyrgios wants to rename his favourite Australian Open court – John Cain Arena – after himself.
The Australian tennis star is making his return from injury to grand slams at Melbourne Park, with his last appearance at a major coming at the US Open in 2022.
Kyrgios has often spoke publicly about how he loves to play at John Cain Arena, with the 29-year-old having a 12-3 win-loss record at the venue.
In an interview on The AO Show podcast, Kyrgios explained why he likes the venue and revealed he would like it to be named after himself one day.

“The court just feels amazing, I think I just love the dimensions of it,” Kyrgios said.
