Nigel Farage is expected to launch a private prosecution against two men involved in a brawl at Manchester Airport in July, which led to protests against police brutality.
The Reform UK leader will make the announcement tomorrow after branding the failure to prosecute those involved as an example of ‘two tier policing’.
Speaking on a podcast, Farage compared the swift prosecution of those involved in race riots over the summer to the lack of criminal charges brought against the men involved in the incident at Manchester Airport.
‘If that’s not two tier policing and two tier justice under two tier Keir, I don’t know what is,’ he said.
The incident occurred over the summer, in which a partial video shared online showed a police officer appearing to brutally assault 19-year-old Fahir Muhammed Amas during an attempted arrest of his brother, Amad.
