EDEN, Utah — Nordic Valley says the loss of their historic barn to a fire nearly a year ago won’t keep it from fully operating.
There are at least two or three seasons left before the ski resort will be able to rebuild the barn. In the meantime, all operations are being run from a double wide trailer.
General Manager Pascal Begin said there were concerns that customers would have a negative experience because of the lack of a fancy lodge. The rebuild is also the task of the land owner, not Nordic Valley.
“People kind of appreciate that we do whatever we can to safeguard our business model,” Pascal said.
Turns out customers love the ski resort’s business model and are still visiting.
