Potential drone sightings reported in Vermont and New York [Video]

People living in northern Vermont and New York towns have noticed some unusual lights in the sky.NBC5 has received multiple reports from residents in Northern New York of lights seen in Franklin and Essex CountSimilarly, reports are coming out of Franklin County, Vermont. Viewers living in St. Albans and Georgia have told NBC5 they spotted what they believed to be drones. There have been similar reports across the country, with some sightings in New Jersey as early as last month. “We have seen lots of recent sightings in New York, New Jersey, Long Island and Staten Island,” said Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.Federal lawmakers have pushed for new technology and legislation to address these recent drone sightings in the Northeast.
