More than one million pairs of oven gloves are being recalled in the U.S. after dozens of reported injuries.
Video and e-commerce retailer QVC is recalling approximately 1.1 million “Temp-tations Oven Gloves,” according to a Thursday notice from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
The gloves, designed for handling hot cookware, fail to provide sufficient heat protection, according to the notice. There have been 162 complaints of insufficient insulation, including 92 incidents resulting in minor burns.
Sold between August 2018 and August 2024, the product was available on QVC’s website and through its televised and digital platforms.
