R&B Groups H-Town & Hi-Five Team Up For Steamy Single ‘Slow Grind’ [Video]

R&B groups Hi-Five and H-Town have come together for an new collaboration.

The brand new joint single “Slow Grind” embodies the soulful and steamy vibes of 90s R&B.

Both groups have continued to be active over the years following their breakout success in the 90’s. Hi-Five now consists of Marcus Sanders, Shannon Gill, Treston Irby, Billy Covington & Faruq Evans. H-Town’s lineup is Solomon “Shazam” Conner & Darryl “G.I.” Jackson.

A Texas ensemble, R&B vocal group Hi-Five found success with their number one Hot 100 single in 1991, “I Like the Way (The Kissing Game).” The group consists of Waco, Texas natives Tony Thompson, Roderick Clark, Marcus Sanders, Russell Neal, and Toriano Easley. Tony Thompson died in 2007 from a freon overdose after he had been inhaling it from an air conditioning unit.
