PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) -West Virginia University announced Sunday that it has fired head coach Neal Brown.
WVU Vice President and Director of Athletics Wren Baker announced the football program’s leadership change in a statement.
Brown just wrapped up his sixth regular season at the school, losing to Texas Tech 52-15. WVU finished the 2024 regular season with a 6-6 record. The school is awaiting a possible bowl bid.
Brown’s record in six seasons with WVU is 37-35 overall and 25-28 in the Big 12.
