Scarlet and gray abound as Ohio State prepares for national championship game [Video]

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Scarlet and gray will always be spotted all over the campus of Ohio State University in Columbus. That’s especially true ahead of the College Football Playoff National Championship. Everyone is wearing their pride on their sleeves.

“There’s a lot of school spirit going on right now with us going to the national championship,” said Christian Manning, a graphic designer for OSU Student Life marketing.

Even with the single-digit temperatures on campus this week, the Buckeye pride shines through.

“You can just see everybody wearing their gear underneath their big coats,” said Julia Raines, a third-year student at OSU.

From hats, to gloves, scarves, shoes and more, campus is abuzz with excitement about the big game and always proud to wear their school colors.
