Stream bonus interview content with Raine Maida as ‘Clumsy’ turns 27 [Video]

On January 23, 1997, Our Lady Peace released their second studio album, Clumsy. As the album turns 27, celebrate with an interview with frontman Raine Maida as he explains the stories behind it.

1. The album is the band’s most successful to date, having sold over one million copies and achieving diamond status in Canada. It is only one of 18 albums to do so.

2. Producer Arnold Lanni heard Raine Maida writing “Superman’s Dead” in a bathroom. “From the bathroom, I heard Raine playing something on an acoustic guitar. When I came out I asked him what it was. He told me that it was just something he was toying around with. I really liked what he was doing so for the next day or so the band and I worked on developing what became ‘Superman’s Dead’.”

3. The band self-directed the music video for “Automatic Flowers”.
