Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre — Missionary
Dr. Dre introduced Snoop Dogg into the musical world. Now, 21 years after his debut album Doggystyle, the Long Beach icon is back with his mentor for their newest collaborative album, Missionary.
Just like things were on Doggystyle Snoop is billed as the Missionary album’s main artist while Dre handles the production. Rappers like Eminem, 50 Cent, and Method Man join Tha Doggfather on this project while Singers like Jhené Aiko, Tom Petty, and Jelly Roll lend their voices too.
Dr. Dre spoke about his working chemistry with Snoop. “It’s all love and respect with us,” he recently told Stephen A. Smith. “That comes first. I just want to see my brother win. So, we go in and we say we’re gonna get down on something. Whatever it is, we put our all into it…We’re brothers and we’re trying to make something dynamic happen at all times.”
