It’s the second straight season that the Titans will wear the uniforms once worn by the Houston Oilers when they play the Texans.
HOUSTON — They’re apparently doing it again. The Tennessee Titans will once again wear the Columbia Blue of the old Houston Oilers when the Texans come to Nashville on Sunday.
That’s according to Jim Wyatt with TennesseeTitans.com…and all of the oil derrick logos on the Titans website and social media.
It’ll be the second straight season that the Titans wear the unis against the Texans at Nissan Field. Last year when they did it, Houston beat Tennessee 19-16 in overtime behind quarterback Case Keenum, who was filling in for an injured CJ Stroud.
This Sunday will be the second time the teams will face each other this season. In the first matchup, Tennessee topped Houston at NRG Stadium, 32-27.
