Armie Hammer’s mother bought him a vasectomy for his birthday.

The Rebecca actor opened up about the curious gift during the Monday, November 11 episode of his new podcast, the Armie HammerTime Podcast. The anecdote came during the second episode of a two-part interview with his mother, Dru Hammer.

“I call Armie and I go, ‘What would you like for your birthday this year?’ He was like, “I don’t know. Maybe money. Whatever.’ And I was like, ‘I believe I’m going to give you a vasectomy,’ his 62-year-old mother said, regarding the Call Me by Your Name star’s 38th birthday in August. Armie shares children Harper, 9, and Ford, 7, with ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers, and says, “I have two beautiful kids… I’m done.”
