With the 2024 election season in the rearview mirror, many celebrities and personalities have opted to leave behind the social media platform X by announcing their departures.
The election saw President-elect Donald Trump defeat Vice President Kamala Harris, after which some celebrities, such as Ellen DeGeneres, moved out of the United States. While other personalities have yet to take such drastic action, others are choosing to quit using X, which has been massively revamped since Elon Musk bought the platform back when it was known as Twitter in 2022.
