After weeks of leaks and rumours LEGO has finally revealed that it will be making sets based on one of the biggest properties in the world in the form of One Piece.

Absolute royalty in the anime and manga spaces, One Piece is a home run choice for LEGO to finally try and break into this space. Despite covering a huge amount of licences over the years, Japanese exports like this haven’t found their way into LEGO sets just yet.

Though it is time to temper expectations as this partnership focuses on the Netflix live adaption of One Piece, and not the aforementioned manga or anime. Despite this, LEGO still mentions how One Piece is a big deal for the company venturing into, at least for this toy company, uncharted waters.
