Footage has been released showing the shocking moment a councillor fled his family home after stabbing his wife three times in the back while their baby daughter lay crying. Darren Brown stabbed Corinne Brown in a jealous rage because she had left him and was dating another man, Elliott Gore, who she had met on social media.

Ms Brown had left Brown some time before, but they had agreed to live in the same home for some time for the sake of their young children. But it was in the home, at Wildmill in Bridgend, where Brown went into a craze during an argument with Ms Brown and he grabbed a knife from the kitchen and attempted to kill her on July 10, 2023.
