Scarlett Johansson has blasted ‘ridiculous’ claims that she only agreed to guest host the Today show with Jenna Bush Hager because she’s broke, with an insider revealing that she is not going to let the haters ruin the experience.
It was announced on Tuesday that the Hollywood actress, 40, will be joining the NBC show as a co-anchor on Jenna & Friends from January 21 until January 24.
While some social media users questioned Scarlett’s new presenting gig and speculated that she might be ‘short on pocket money,’ an insider has revealed they couldn’t be further from the truth.
Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, they said Scarlett ‘jumped at the chance’ to co-host alongside Jenna, 43, and that she was eager to be an interviewer given that she is usually the one in the hot seat.
