The folks at NEON are back in their marketing bag as they amp up the hype for the new film from the director of Longlegs.
Coming to theaters next month, The Monkey, written and directed by Osgood Perkins, stars Theo James as twin brothers Bill and Hal.
Based on the short story by Stephen King, The Monkey follows the twins as they find their father’s old monkey toy in the attic, an event which coincidentally occurs before a series of gruesome deaths begin.
The twins must decide whether or not to throw the monkey away, later moving on with their lives and growing apart over the years.
Joining James in the cast are Elijah Wood, Sarah Levy, and Osgood Perkins.
