Former President Donald Trump said in a new podcast interview that the United States faces opponents within its own country, specifically from “an amorphous group of lunatics.”
Trump created controversy when he stated in a Sunday interview that “the enemy from within” is greater than foreign enemies, deeming “radical left lunatics” as this enemy. The former president discussed this again in a new podcast appearance, contending these people are “sort of sick” but “not stupid.”
“I think it’s an amorphous group,” Trump said on the Patrick-Bet David podcast. “It’s not one person, it’s an amorphous group of lunatics, and when they come together, they’re pretty bad.”
