Unburnt creates a unique, genre-blending sound that’s both organic and dynamic, moving between dark, ethereal, and intense tones, reminiscent of bands like Neurosis, Unfold, and The Ocean. Their lyrics are rich in poetic metaphors, drawing on personal experience through an esoteric lens. Spanning six tracks and 45 minutes, Elevation reflects the band’s artistic growth, both in its production choices and its surrounding visual aesthetic. Following their 2018 EP Æthereal, Unburnt released their debut album, Procession, in 2020.
