CANDIDATES running in the upcoming General Election in Limerick City were invited to take part in the Bring Back the City? Limerick Decides debate in the University of Limerick (UL) this Wednesday afternoon.
Topics discussed at the debate included health, housing, the cost of living crisis, the regeneration of Limerick city, and crime prevention.

The debate was moderated by Dr Kathryn Hayes, course director of the BA in Journalism and Digital Communications programme in UL, with the assistance of her colleague, Dr Fergal Quinn.
It was attended by Melanie Cleary, Mid-West Hospital Campaign, Ruairi Fahy, People Before Profit, Senator Paul Gavan, Sinn Fein, Dean Lillis, Independent, Cllr Elisa O’Donovan, Social Democrats, Dee Ryan, Fianna Fail and Cllr Conor Sheehan, Labour.
