KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A brand and marketing director from the University of Tennessee Medical Center will be featured in an episode of “Wheel of Fortune” on Thursday. 

Sandi Gettelfinger will appear as a contestant on the episode with host Ryan Seacrest at 7 p.m. on WBIR. The Knoxville resident will battle against other contestants in solving a series of word puzzles, with a spinning wheel determining their cash and prize earnings. 

Gettelfinger has been working at UT Medical Center for nearly four years, since joining the team in the winter of 2021. 

According to her LinkedIn profile, Sandi earned her bachelor’s in communications. Prior to that, she worked for companies like Discovery Inc., DIY Network and United Way of Greater Knoxville.
