As Warframe continues their countdown to the Warframe 1999 update, the looter shooter‘s team took to YouTube today to present the latest Devsteam presentation. Sadly, part of this presentation was the first of multiple planned tributes to Warframe’s first art director. Mike ‘Mynki’ Brennan passed away on October 15th after just having celebrated his 50th birthday. Warframe 1999 has been dedicated to him by the team.
When it comes to news on the company’s titles, let’s start with the upcoming MMORPG Soulframe. While the game is still in its “Preludes” phase, basically a pre-alpha, new content has been and is still being added. Five new weapons have been unlocked for testers and the combat and skills system that goes with chosen weapons has been improved. Higher tier rewards have also been added via new open world events and encounters. You’ll find these on your map.
