Darlene Love continued a time-honored tradition this week when she appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for a spirited performance of the classic “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).”

The legendary soul/R&B singer performed the song on the Late Show with David Letterman each winter beginning in 1986 upon an invite from Dave, and it was a yearly engagement on the program up until 2014. Love then performed the song on The View, but this week she returned to late-night TV in a big way.
