What They’re Saying: Fever Unveil Three New Uniforms [Video]

The Indiana Fever had social media buzzing on Thursday morning after unveiling three different designs in an effort to share the unique characteristics of Indiana and its story through three new special uniforms.

It begins with the WNBA Nike Heroine Edition (white) and the WNBA Nike Explorer Edition (navy) jerseys. The primary influence for the Fever jerseys was Lady Victory, who is proudly displayed atop the Soldiers & Sailors Monument in the heart of downtown in Monument Circle.

In conjunction, the WNBA Nike Rebel Edition jersey design stems from Netflix’s original series, Stranger Things, which is based in the town of Hawkins, Indiana.

Teaira McCowan, who the Fever drafted with 3^rd pick in the 2019 WNBA Draft, was the perfect person to help bring the story of each jersey to life. In fact, according to the Ringer, “Teaira McCowan is a badass and should be included in the next season of the show.”
