Bobby Lashley, two-time WWE Champion and member of the Hurt Syndicate, has revealed what convinced him to leave the world’s most popular professional wrestling promotion and sign with AEW: talking with fellow former champion Adam Copeland, formerly known as Edge.
In a recent appearance on the “Sports Guys Talking Wrestling Podcast,” Lashley opened up about conversations with Copeland being a hugely important part of his transition to AEW.
When asked about his reasons for shifting to the newer company, Lashley said he had multiple conversations with other wrestlers and highlight the former Edge as one.
