The corporate world was shocked by the news of mass layoffs by the Delhi-based startup, YesMadam. Following the controversy and social media uproar over claims that around 100 employees were fired for being stressed, the company issued a statement. In a three-page statement on LinkedIn, the company apologised for the “distress” caused by a viral email and claimed it was an awareness effort for employee’s wellbeing.
