Zara McDermott shared a clue that she had split from Sam Thompson days before the couple announced their break-up. 

The TV personality, 28, left fans questioning why she failed to mention her boyfriend, 32, when she reflected on the past year – but it largely went unnoticed.  

Sharing an update to Instagram, ahead of 2025, Zara listed everything she was grateful for including her mum and new work ventures. 

The former couple, who began dating in 2019, were revealed to have split on Wednesday after spending Christmas and New Year’s Eve separately, with a source exclusively telling MailOnline. 

In a post to social media, Zara failed to mention Sam, although she did include a few photos of him in the montage.
